The Ready Resource program was founded in 2010 by the Union County Development Association. The program is based on providing resources and services in the following ways;

1. The resources available help address the needs of a wide array of industry sectors. The program is aimed at assisting start-up and existing local businesses to survive and grow with assistance from local and regional economic development partners and business service providers.

2. The Ready Resource program is designed to provide the resources to conduct technical assistance, research and training to address business concerns, understand the structure of the local economy and implement projects that will help make the region to be successful. Utilizing the Synchronist Information Business Information(R) developed by Blane-Canada, LTD the UCDA staff and board can generate current factual data to make informed decisions on how to allocate limited economic development dollars.

3. Rather than create a whole new set of programs and services, Ready Resource collaborates with area business services provider to collectivley provide a menu of services to local businesses.
